QuoteFyn is operated by Modasserul Hoque (trading as Creationic).
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QuoteFyn, available at https://quotefyn.com (the "Service"). The Service is provided by QuoteFyn, Dhaka, Bangladesh ("QuoteFyn", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these Terms.
1. The Service
QuoteFyn lets freelancers and agencies ("you", "User") create price catalogs, build quotes and proposals, share them with their own clients ("Clients") through private links, and record acceptance and payments. QuoteFyn is a software tool. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your Clients.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
- You can sign up with email and password or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account.
- Tell us immediately at support@quotefyn.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Plans, billing and our reseller
- QuoteFyn offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Agency). Plan features and limits are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.
- QuoteFyn branding on what your Clients see. On the Free plan, proposals, proposal PDFs and emails to your Clients carry QuoteFyn branding (our logo and a link to quotefyn.com). Pro and Lifetime show no QuoteFyn branding on proposals, PDFs or client emails. Agency is fully white-label: in addition, your logo is the proposal icon, link previews and PDF details name your business instead of QuoteFyn, and client emails use your sender name and reply-to. Branding follows your current plan, so after a downgrade it also applies to proposals you already sent.
- Paid plans are sold through Freemius, Inc. ("Freemius"), our authorized reseller and merchant of record. When you buy a paid plan, you buy it from Freemius, and Freemius handles checkout, payment processing, invoicing and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your purchase is also subject to the Freemius Terms of Sale. If those terms conflict with these Terms on a payment matter, the Freemius Terms of Sale apply to that payment matter.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Billing → Cancel subscription in your QuoteFyn account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, after which your account moves to the Free plan.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated. Freemius calculates and collects taxes at checkout based on your location.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may give a grace period and then move your account to the Free plan. Your data is kept.
- Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which matches the refund policy configured for QuoteFyn on Freemius.
4. Payments from your Clients
- QuoteFyn can show your Clients the payment methods you connect, such as your own Stripe or PayPal account, bank transfer details, payment links or other instructions. Payments from Clients go directly to you through those providers. QuoteFyn never receives, holds or transfers Client money.
- You are solely responsible for your agreements with your payment providers, the accuracy of the payment details you enter, fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes and invoices for your services, and any disputes with your Clients.
- You authorize us to store your payment-provider credentials in encrypted form and use them only to create and verify payments for your quotes.
5. Your content and your Clients' data
- You keep all rights to the content you upload or create, including services, prices, quotes, logos and Client information ("Your Content").
- You grant us a limited license to host, process, display and transmit Your Content only to provide and improve the Service.
- For personal data about your Clients, you are the data controller and QuoteFyn acts as your data processor. We process it only to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have a lawful basis to share it with us and to contact your Clients through the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to: break any law; send spam or unsolicited messages; impersonate others or create misleading proposals; collect payments for illegal goods or services; upload malware; probe or overload our systems; scrape the Service; or resell the Service without our written permission. You must also follow the Freemius Acceptable Use Policy where it applies to purchases. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, QuoteFyn name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms give you no rights to them except the right to use the Service as allowed here.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces a paid plan you already paid for, we will tell you in advance.
9. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. This permanently deletes Your Content after a short recovery window of up to 30 days, except data we must keep by law.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
- Deleting your QuoteFyn account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription on Freemius; cancel it first from Billing.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Quotes, prices and calculations are generated from the data you enter. You are responsible for checking every quote before you send it. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your dealings with your Clients, your use of payment providers, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring claims locally.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
