QuoteFyn is operated by Modasserul Hoque (trading as Creationic).

This Privacy Policy explains how QuoteFyn ("QuoteFyn", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use QuoteFyn at https://quotefyn.com. Contact: support@quotefyn.com.

1. Who is responsible

• Account holders (freelancers and agencies): we are the controller of your account and usage data.
• Your Clients (people who receive proposals): the freelancer or agency who sends the proposal is the controller; we process that data on their behalf as a processor. Clients should contact the sender with privacy requests; we will help them respond.
• Subscription payments: paid QuoteFyn plans are sold through Freemius, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. Freemius collects and processes your payment and billing details under the Freemius Privacy Policy. We never see or store your full card details.

3. How we use it

• Provide the Service: accounts, quotes, proposal links, PDFs, emails and payment tracking (contract).
• Billing and plan access, using subscription data from Freemius (contract).
• Security: fraud and abuse prevention, rate limiting, backups (legitimate interests).
• Service emails: verification, password reset, quote notifications, billing notices (contract).
• Product improvement: aggregated usage statistics (legitimate interests).
• Marketing emails only with your consent; you can unsubscribe any time.
• Legal obligations: tax and accounting records, responding to lawful requests.

We do not sell personal data and do not use your Clients' data for our own marketing.

4. Sharing and sub-processors

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that protect it:

When your Clients pay you through Stripe, PayPal or another provider you connect, they deal directly with that provider and its own privacy policy applies. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, or to a successor if QuoteFyn is merged or sold (with notice to you).

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

• Account and content data: while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion (backups roll off within a further 30 days).
• Billing records: as long as tax law requires.
• Logs: up to 90 days.

7. Security

Encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, AES-256 encryption of payment-provider keys, access controls, private proposal links with random tokens, and regular encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at support@quotefyn.com if you find a vulnerability.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. We use analytics cookies only with your consent where required. Proposal pages your Clients open use only essential cookies.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA in California), you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You can export or delete most data yourself in Settings. Email support@quotefyn.com for other requests; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Children

QuoteFyn is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We will post updates here with a new date and notify you of material changes by email or in the app.
